Role Overview
Quality is our highest priority at Piegoo Software. We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build automated test suites, execute end-to-end regression suites, and partner with developers to ship rock-solid software.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API test suites (Playwright / Cypress / Pytest).
- Conduct performance, stress, and load testing for high-traffic enterprise systems.
- Perform manual exploratory testing for edge cases and usability audits.
- Document detailed bug reports with reproduction steps in GitHub Issues / Jira.
- Participate in sprint planning to define acceptance criteria and test matrices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of QA testing experience with at least 1 year in automation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Newman, or Pytest.
- Familiarity with test frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress).
- Understanding of HTTP protocols, status codes, and browser dev tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Basic Python or JavaScript scripting ability.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions).
